Ockert Loubser

Ockert Loubser began his entrepreneurial journey in 2002 by founding a one-man design agency focused on graphic design. At the young age of 17, he became a self-taught developer and established a full-time company in 2003 while continuing his full-time studies. Over the years, he expanded the company’s offerings to include advertising, digital programming, interactive media, and print media, working with notable clients such as McDonald’s, South African Breweries (SAB), Barden Tires, and the Peace Foundation. Ockert continues to serve as the CEO of the company.

In 2003, Ockert developed a closed-loop accountability system called PYP (Pay Your Premium) for the funeral and underwriters industry. This innovative system processed over 1 billion transactions and introduced the use of distributed ledgers and tokenization. He successfully sold the company in 2006.

Ockert made significant advancements in digital imaging and connectivity. In 2003, he invented a proprietary graphics card that converted analog signals to digital format. He also pioneered the IP camera industry by installing a record 367 cameras with over 50km of blown fiber cables, eventually selling the venture in 2005.

Ockert’s career took an international turn in 2012 when he moved to Slovakia with his father. There, he developed a TV mall for Samsung Smart TVs on the Tizen OS and integrated Microsoft Xbox camera systems for interactive clothing applications on TV. He later established the Core Blockchain with the Ylem Smart Contract language and the Codetech ecosystem, which expanded into ARAX.

Ockert Loubser’s career is marked by his innovative contributions across various industries, from graphic design and digital programming to blockchain technology and digital imaging.
